Vintage Sims Vintage Sims -Uncle George does it again ...this time with vintage objects. This site was born when one of the greatest movies of all time came to Simsville. Gone with The Sims done in collaboration with the Original Sim and a bevy of creative people in the community was a wonder to behold. All of the Gone With The Sims objects can be found here along with some new surprises like antique toys and lovely Italian furniture.Uncle George has gone fishing. He has left his sites in the capable hands or claws of Hunting Bear and Fishing Bear. This site is dedicated to all of his objects that are vintage related. This is the home of the famous Gone With The Wind Set( “Read about us in TV Guide on the anniversary of Gone With The Wind, December 28!” reprinted from the site. ) Lets take a journey back in time to years gone by when the world didn’t even know what a computer was and a man walking on the moon was simply ludicrous. Here you’ll find such things as gramophones, a ringer washer, horse and carriage, pot belly stove, hauling sled, old fashioned push mower, and many more (even if you don’t feel your sims need any of these things this is still a nice site to visit to get an idea of how your grandparents lived.) Under 'New Surprises' are a pair of working antique radios and an old-time push lawn mower.This is also home to an extensive zoo. The 'Petting Zoo' had lots of animals including a giraffe, elephant, wolf, llama, and zebra, to name just a few. Vixens Sim Art-I got an e-mail the other day from this gal who was trying to start a website and needed some help getting her pages to show up. Seems no one had the time to help her and quite frankly, neither did I. If you are a webmaster perhaps you know why "smiles". I took a deep breath and remembered how many hours a friend of mine spent online with me helping me do just the same thing. I'm no genius at html having just learned a few months prior myself, but I took the the plunge anyway and I am glad I did. Vixen has some beautiful paintings for your simmies pleasure and in just a few days has managed to post what looks like well over a hundred. There are more on the way I'm told ...for now find fantasy art galore including Jonathan Earl Bowser, Boris Vallejo, and Dungeons & Dragons art. Lots of beautiful wildlife and nature paintings. I am especially fond of the dolphins, not only because I love dolphins but because she has dedicated them to me.."blushes profusely"! There is also some pop culture art including a painting from Rocky Horror and Curly from The Three Stooges fame. I am waiting patiently for The Woman At War zip to be fixed because I must have it!! Expecting more good things from my first protege in the very near future! Updated 4/2/01. As I visited this site, I felt like I was visiting a fine museum as there are paintings on top of paintings. There are paintings by painters such as Jonathon Earl Bowser, Boris Valejo, Schim Schimmel, and Ellen McDonough. There are realistic paintings of horses, landscapes, bears, and my favorite, tigers.
